A little about myself...

Hello! I'm Alejandro Dennis I received most of my education in Mexicali, Baja California. I was born and raised in this small city and I had a life full of happiness there. Since I was little, I have had a passion for playing basketball. As I was growing up, I was fortunate enough that so many doors opened for me, and I even got the opportunity to represent my country by playing for and captaining the Underage Mexican National Team. As I was playing in international tournaments, I started to realize I had to make a change in my life. I knew that to achieve the goals that I had, I needed to leave my family and my hometown. I decided to move to San Diego to pursue my ambitions, and I knew that St. Augustine High School was the perfect place to help me accomplish all of my goals.

While studying at St. Augustine High School I realized I wanted to persue a career in Computer Science. I have experience programming in many different languages such as Java, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also have some professional experience in my background. I got the oppportunity to start of my professional experience with Inercy Software as a front-end web developer and also I got the opportunity to do an internship at OS5 Technology Solutions as a Software Engineer.

I am currently a sophomore studying at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education , pursuing my B.S. in Computer Science and Technology. Right now, my highest interest is to put my new skills into practice at an internship. I am open to every field in Computer Science since I am trying to find what I will specialize myself in the next few years.
